Mike has over 33 years of consulting engineering experience with responsibilities ranging from the design and implementation of instrumentation & control systems to project and corporate management. Mike joined Fransen Engineering in 1988 with a mandate to form an Instrumentation and Control Systems department which has since become a leader in the industry. He was instrumental in Fransen’s development into a successful multi discipline company providing engineering services to many industries across Canada and the United States. Mike became President and CEO of Fransen Engineering in 2003 and is registered as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario.

George has more than 30 years of consulting engineering experience with responsibilities ranging from the design and implementation of mechanical systems to project and corporate management. George joined Fransen Engineering in 1993 with a mandate to form both mechanical and civil structural departments. He was instrumental in Fransen’s development into a successful multi discipline company providing engineering services to many industries across Canada and the United States. George is currently the Head of Engineering and he is registered as a P. Eng. in BC.

Jim has more than 25 years experience in the Electrical & Instrumentation field. Responsibilities have included project management, engineering design, cost estimating and controls, scheduling, and technical assistance. Instrumentation experience includes specification, design, configuration and commissioning of distributed control systems (DCS) and numerous plant instrumentation, control and safety systems. Electrical experience includes specification, design and commissioning of all types of electrical equipment, low-, medium- and high-voltage substations up to 240 kV, and various types of electrical generators and generation systems. Additional responsibilities include supervision of engineers and designers working on design projects and the preparation of technical reports, power-system analysis studies, and feasibility studies. Jim is registered as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Jim is a senior member of IEEE.
