Specialization:

As the Manager of Projects, Kim is responsible for maintaining a professional standard of practice and quality of work with respect to all projects within Fransen.  By establishing a Project Management Office (PMO), he is building internal systems and procedures for continuous improvement of project management and execution.  He is a certified Project Management Professional and well versed in project management methodologies and processes.

Kim has over fifteen years of industrial plant engineering experience as Project Manager and Project Engineer.  He has managed projects of various sizes, ranging from maintenance projects to moderate greenfield projects.  He has proven ability to lead multi-discipline design teams to execute projects on budget, schedule and quality.  His technical experience includes industrial plant design, specifications, mechanical and piping systems design, and construction management.

Kim has also completed an Executive MBA program and brings a business perspective to company strategy and project execution.

Kim is registered as a Professional Engineer with both the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and Alberta.
