Specialization:

Harold’s experience consists of over 20 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems design in both the Pulp & Paper and Oil & Gas industries. In those years he gained extensive experience working on the design and commissioning of numerous control systems; both as an engineering services provider and as a client. More recently he has provided project management to a number of electrical & instrumentation related projects.

From 2001 to 2008, as Manager of Business Development, Harold worked to develop and maintain client relationships in order to secure both present and future project work. In 2008, Harold shifted to his current position of Director of Resource Development, signaling the company's commitment to the professional development of our team members.  Harold is a member of the Fransen management team and he continues to be actively involved in both marketing and human resources.

Harold is registered as an Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T.) and is a Senior Member of the Instrumentation Systems and Automation Society (ISA), having served as the BC Section President and District 10 Vice President.
